Please. They vitriol comes from both sides; let's not pretend the CPC or its supporters are angels.

My neighbourhood had *brake lines* cut in the cars of some Liberal supporters. That's certainly comparable to tire slashing.

This notion of Stephen Harper/Conservatives being "evil" ultimately keeps the Liberals from connecting well with Canadians.

Despite the fact that 30% plus of Canadians steadfastly support the Tories, the Liberals are so caught up in this over-the-top negative attitude toward their opponents that they cannot see how it leaves them outside the Canadian mainstream in terms of certain policies and issues.

Oh, but the left promote evil by saying nothing. Will this make national news? Not likely, you know Conservatives are heartless, therefore they deserve no coverage, because they brought it on themselves.

Stephane Dion is the kind of person who says:
"I will not sling mud on that lying, secretive, destructive, arrogant, ideologue Stephen Harper . . . I leave that others"

-- meanwhile, Elizabeth May is chirping from his back pocket:

"Well, I suppose Harper's a good father, so he must just be an idiot. Can the man read? He knows nothing. He's ignorant and if he does know then he's doing this on purpose and he's a bad, bad, man."

So, Stephane Dion is not evil, but he is duplicitous -- but that's the Liberal way.
