Hey Guys … It’s Barley Legal

So farmers voted to not allow the Wheat Board to have a monopoly on marketing barley.

It’s astonishing, isn’t it?

I don’t remember Russia having a vote to determine the end of Communism. Did Uganda have a plebiscite on oppression and freedom?

But I digress. This truly is a great day!

If we do reopen the Constitution for the new ADQ/QLP world order, let’s make sure “Property Rights” are enshrined in the new one.

It’s too bad our government won’t take on some of the other monopolies and oligopolies, too: banks, airlines, cable companies, phone companies, and unnecessary government intervention in energy, highways, lettermail, mortgage insurance.

Perhaps one day.
