It is one thing to say that taking over a fledgling political party, building a new one and winning the top political job in Canada takes courage.
It’s quite a different type of courage for a world leader, a prime target for any terrorist, to walk out into a warzone to show support for the troops who put their lives on the line every single day. When was the last time a Canadian Prime Minister did this? I really don’t recall.
Congratulations, Stephen Harper — your courage makes me even more proud to say “I am Canadian!”
