Whenever I meet someone who thinks Trudeau or the NDP (Trudeau was a former dipper) or any such coalition is good for the country, I always ask them, "If you were Prime Minister, what would you do with an extra $30 billion in disposable tax dollars?"

I've met once person who ever said, "Put it to the debt." Everyone else who believes in the left's voodoo economics wants to put it towards Smallwood-style projects. And they're always surprised when they learn why I picked the number "30 billion".

It's sad. We could get through World War II without a dime of debt, but experimenting with socialism has left us paying through the nose.
